The call sign KGRT was assigned by the Federal Communications Commission on June 15, 1983, giving the station a history spanning more than four decades. Programming is structured around a consistent weekday daypart schedule. Morning drive runs from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. with local host Ernesto Garcia, followed by Jackie Wilkinson through midday. Afternoon drive from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. features a host known as Mason, with the syndicated Nash Nights program filling the evening block from 7 p.m. to midnight.
