这家电台提供多样化的节目。

Operating through FM translator W268BM at 101.5 MHz, this station's programming originates from WJLX at 1240 kHz AM, which carries a full-service and oldies format. The broadcast license is held by Blue Door Broadcasting, with the station owned by Jonathan Timmons, and studios and offices situated on Alabama State Route 195. The AM transmitter is authorized for 1,000 watts but currently holds special temporary authority from the FCC to operate at 100 watts. The station's broadcast history begins March 1, 1957, when it signed on as WARF under ownership of Hudson C. Millar Jr., whose license was held by the Walker County Broadcasting Company at 250 watts. The property changed hands multiple times over the following decades. In 1965 it was sold to a consortium called Radio South for $102,500. By 1993 Houston Pearce had become the sole owner, and that year the station, then carrying a country music format with news and talk features, was sold along with sister station WFFN to a partnership of Pearce, Voncile Pearce, and Vachel Posey Jr. A sale to New Century Radio, Inc. followed in late 1993. Subsequent years brought multiple call letter changes: the FCC assigned WTID in January 2003, then WLYJ in September 2004 when Joy Christian Communications acquired the station from New Century Radio for a reported $200,000. The current WJLX call letters came later as the station settled into its present format combining full-service programming with oldies music, a format inherited from the WLYJ era. The FM translator at 101.5 MHz extends the station's reach throughout the Walker County listening area.
