The station functions primarily as a professional broadcast training facility for Hofstra students, with over three hundred students participating in live on-air operations each academic cycle. Students gain hands-on experience with industry-standard broadcast technology, including systems from RCS, Wheatstone, Comrex, and Telos, within multimedia studios housed at the Lawrence Herbert School of Communication.
