A Classic Country formatted station licensed to Grundy, Virginia, serving Grundy and Buchanan County. The station is owned and operated by Peggy Sue Broadcasting Corporation and carries ABC Radio News at the top of every hour. Signature programming includes The Coffee Pot Show, a weekday morning program running from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Eastern, hosted by Rodney Davis, featuring classic country music and listener request segments. The station previously aired Paul Harvey's "News & Comment" each morning and midday, along with "The Rest of the Story" in the afternoons until Harvey's death. A live, interactive trading post segment airs weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., providing a forum for listeners to place free classified advertisements on air. On July 27, 2005, the station swapped frequencies with sister station WRIC; WMJD moved from 97.7 FM, where it had broadcast since going on the air, to its current frequency of 100.7 FM.
