Owned by Donald Pugh through Eternity Media Group WABF, LLC, the station carries an oldies and adult standards format drawing from the 1950s through the 1980s, including genres such as rock and roll, Motown, the British Invasion, and American standards from artists ranging from Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin to the Beatles and Neil Diamond. The station traces its origins to WABB, which first signed on June 19, 1948, under ownership of the Mobile Register newspaper.
