A commercial FM radio station broadcasting at 92.9 MHz under the brand name Cool 92-9, licensed to Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. The station carries a classic hits format and is owned by WVRC Media through its West Virginia Radio Corporation of the Alleghenies licensee. Its signal covers a wide area that extends to Martinsburg, West Virginia, Hancock, Maryland, Winchester, Virginia, and Hagerstown, Maryland. The station first went to air in December 1965 as WCST-FM and operated on 93.5 MHz before moving to 92.9 in 2005, at which point it also increased its tower height and transmitter power. It subsequently operated under the WDHC call sign with a country-oriented brand before being sold in January 2017 to Metro Radio of Fairfax, Virginia. Under Metro's ownership the entire on-air staff was dismissed and the station briefly simulcast Spanish-language programming from sister station WTNT. Community response prompted Metro to enter a local marketing agreement with a Hancock restaurateur, who returned the station to English-language classic hits within weeks. Ownership subsequently passed to WVRC Media on May 1, 2019. Current programming includes weekday on-air personalities across morning, midday, and afternoon dayparts, alongside local community features and MetroNews television content. The station also participates in weekly pet adoption spotlights with the Humane Society of Morgan County.
