A commercial all-news radio station licensed to Washington, D.C., operating at 103.5 FM and branded as "WTOP Radio" and "WTOP News." Owned by Hubbard Broadcasting, the station serves the Washington metropolitan area and extends its coverage through two FM repeater stations: WTLP at 103.9 in Braddock Heights, Maryland, and WWWT-FM at 107.7 in Manassas, Virginia. The station's studios, known on-air as the "WTOP Glass-Enclosed Nerve Center," are located on Wisconsin Avenue in Chevy Chase, Maryland, while its transmitter is situated on the campus of American University. In addition to standard analog transmission, WTOP-FM broadcasts across three HD Radio channels and streams online. Programming follows an hourly wheel structure anchored by CBS News on the hour, with local news filling the remaining time. Traffic and weather updates air every ten minutes on "the 8s," local business news runs at ten and forty minutes past the hour, and sports news at twenty-five and fifty-five past the hour. Weather forecasts are provided in partnership with WJLA-TV, and business coverage comes from the Washington Business Journal.
