A student-run freeform radio station operating at 89.3 FM, the station is affiliated with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Programming follows a freeform format in which DJs select their own music without rigid genre restrictions, resulting in a diverse and eclectic on-air sound. The station publishes a programming schedule each semester and recruits new DJs with no prior experience required.
