KSRW is an FM radio station broadcasting on 92.5 MHz, licensed to Independence, California, operating under the branding "The Classic Rock Asylum." The station serves the communities of Bishop, Ridgecrest, Mammoth Lakes, and June Lake in the Eastern Sierra Nevada region, with a secondary frequency at 96.5 MHz reaching the Mammoth Lakes North area. It is owned by the Benett Kessler II Trust. The station has undergone several format changes over its history. After operating as an adult contemporary outlet for many years, KSRW shifted to an alternative rock format on September 6, 2015, before transitioning to classic rock in May 2022. In April 2025 the station relaunched under the Classic Rock Asylum branding. KSRW carries a mix of classic rock music and locally produced programming. Weekday local productions include Eastern Sierra news segments and interview programs at 7:00 a.m., 8:00 a.m., noon, and 5:00 p.m., with daily fish and snow reports relevant to the region's outdoor recreation economy. The Saturday lineup includes the Casey Kasem Top 40 from the 1970s, while Sunday features religious programming and additional specialty shows. The evening schedule runs the nationally syndicated Steve Gorman Rocks program. The station has historically produced local news and community content under the Sierra Wave banner, with some television-related operations previously connected to KSRW-LP channel 33 in Mammoth Lakes, which ceased analog broadcasting in July 2021.
