The broadcaster operates as a youth-led radio station dedicated to empowering young people through radio and creative media. The station’s presenters frequently attend community events, including the Devon County Show, the local area Carnival, and the English Riviera Airshow. The station has achieved recognition within the community and at national awards. It has received the “Digital Station of the Year” award in 2020 and 2021 from The Radio Academy ARIAS, as well as “The Grassroots Award” in 2024. The station’s involvement in community events demonstrates a commitment to engaging with the wider population and providing opportunities for young people to represent their perspectives.
