Further innovation in the 1930s saw engineer Constantin Zablovschi establish a transatlantic radio link between Bucharest and New York. Cultural content is provided by a station featuring classical music, theatre, and news, complemented by a specialized classical music channel with limited reception. The regional network, which includes stations like București FM, Radio Cluj, Radio Constanța, Radio Craiova, Radio Iași, Radio Reșița, Radio Târgu Mureș, and Radio Timișoara, prioritizes regional news, programs for minority communities, and a music selection that spans oldies and pop.
