This radio station began broadcasting in 1995 as a non-commercial weekend service. Initially, it offered a broad music selection with horizontal programming. The station's origins trace back to the 1990s, with initial FM broadcasts operating as an unauthorized transmitter on 97.20 MHz. Currently, programming is delivered via web streaming in both high and low quality. The format is primarily nonstop music, focusing on happy hardcore and dance hits from the 1990s. Occasionally, live events are broadcast on FM and DAB+. A substream, known as Funky Club038, is managed by a former colleague and offers additional programming.
