This radio station focuses on classic music from the 1970s and 1980s. The station was originally founded in 1977 as a pirate radio station broadcasting to Amersfoort and the surrounding region. It aimed to become a legal local broadcaster. In 1984, the station launched its "Radio Eemland Top 123" hit list, which was broadcast between 9 AM and 6 PM, allowing DJs time to provide background information. After a period off the air, the station returned legally in 2020, continuing to play music from its original broadcast era. Its slogan, "Je Herinnering Leeft!" (Your Memory Lives!), reflects this focus on nostalgic music. The station also broadcasts in high quality online and offers a WhatsApp channel for updates.
