This feature links the audio content to a mapping system, enabling listeners to understand the location where the sounds were originally captured. The absence of a fixed schedule underscores the station's commitment to presenting a spontaneous and unpredictable listening experience. The station’s history is intrinsically linked to the concept of radio as a medium for sharing and exploring the world through sound. It represents a departure from conventional radio broadcasting models, prioritizing user-generated content and geographical context. The platform’s creation stemmed from a desire to create a radio station that reflects the diversity of sounds present in the world, moving beyond traditional music formats.
