Launched on 1 March 2008 as the successor to W Radio Chile, this news, sports, and current-affairs broadcaster operates a network of 33 transmitters spanning the length of the country, making it one of the most geographically extensive information-format stations in Chile and the only national news outlet receivable on Easter Island. The acronym stands for Actualidad, Deportes, Noticias (Current Affairs, Sports, News), reflecting the three editorial pillars that structure the programming. Owned by Prisa Media Chile, a subsidiary of the Spanish Grupo PRISA, the station shares corporate infrastructure with sister outlets including Radio Imagina, Radio Concierto, Radio Futuro, Radio Pudahuel, Rock & Pop, FM Dos, and Corazón FM. The station's own press department produces newscasts and bulletins that also feed several of these sibling networks, positioning the outlet as the information backbone of the holding group. Sports coverage constitutes a core programming pillar, anchored by the long-running programme Los Tenores de la Tarde, a daily conversation show featuring rotating panels of journalists and former athletes discussing Chilean and international football, among other sports. The station has broadcast the Chilean domestic football league and FIFA World Cup coverage, and from 2011 through 2024 served as an official radio partner of the Festival Internacional de la Canción de Viña del Mar. The station inaugurated purpose-built studios in November 2012, featuring an open-plan broadcast suite modelled after Spain's Cadena Ser. Notable on-air talent has included journalists from across Chile's media spectrum, and the station provides live streaming through its website and digital platforms.
