This community-powered streaming service is a not-for-profit media outlet focused on creating community and sharing music, talk, and news relevant to its local audience. The station is actively pursuing an FM license and has raised over $28,000 towards a $50,000 target for its "Get on the FM Dial" campaign. Programming includes locally-grown shows featuring music, talk, and news. Recent programming highlights include "Labour Beat," which featured an interview from the Mike Keelan Tapes with Bob Woods, a leader in selective logging and environmental forest practices. Another upcoming program on March 6 will feature a retrospective of music played on the station, with over 1000 tracks having been featured to date. The station also partners with campus community radio station CHLY 101.7 FM and VIU students to support local journalism, and is seeking a reporter for the Comox Valley. Fundraising efforts have included an "80s Dance Party" featuring Ricochet. A store selling station merchandise is planned.
