KQBM is a full-power, FCC-licensed community radio station broadcasting at 90.7 FM, with a secondary low-power signal at 103.7 LP-FM. Owned by the Blue Mountain Coalition for Youth and Families (BMCYF), a California non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, the station serves communities across Amador, Calaveras, and Tuolumne counties in the Sierra Nevada foothills region known as the Mother Lode, as well as the central San Joaquin Valley. It holds the distinction of being the Mother Lode's first full-power FM community radio station. Programming encompasses music, locally produced news and feature content, and nationally syndicated programs, reflecting the station's commitment to serving a geographically dispersed rural audience. The station is licensed to serve the community of San Andreas, California, and was assigned its KQBM call letters by the FCC on February 20, 2011. Donations to the station are tax-deductible under BMCYF's non-profit status. The station also accepts public service announcements from community organizations throughout its coverage area.
