Scientists with the USGS Hawaiian Volcano Observatory say Monday's magnitude 4.1 earthquake in the Honau Naunapuopo area of Hawaii Island was likely an aftershock of the magnitude 6.0 quake that occurred on May 23. Yesterday's earthquake was reported at 9.24 a.m. The USGS Did You Feel It website recorded 93 felt reports within the first hour, mostly across the western portion of the Big Island with a few reports from Maui and O'ahu.
