A 5,000-watt community AM radio station serving the Copper River Valley in Southcentral Alaska, situated at the intersection of the Glenn and Richardson Highways at the edge of Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve, approximately 187 miles northeast of Anchorage. The station first went to air in March 1964, during the period of the Great Alaska Earthquake.
