WAIN-FM is a country music radio station licensed to Columbia, Kentucky, broadcasting at 93.5 MHz. The station is owned by Forcht Broadcasting and operates as part of a duopoly alongside WAIN at 1270 AM, which carries a sports radio format. The FM station first went to air in 1968, initially serving as a companion outlet to the long-established AM station. Both properties were owned at that time by Lindsey Wilson College, a private liberal arts institution in Columbia. By 1983, ownership had transferred to Key Broadcasting, which later became Forcht Broadcasting. WAIN-FM produces several local programs on weekday mornings, including a morning show called McKinney in the Mornings, which airs from 5:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., followed by Community Buzz, a locally oriented program running until 9:00 a.m. Midday hours feature syndicated country programming from Compass Media Networks.
