A non-profit radio station broadcasting at 100.1 FM with a Christian radio format, owned and operated by Voice for Christ Ministries. To extend its broadcast area across the sparsely populated region of western Alaska, the station is relayed by six additional low-power FM translators beyond the main transmitter. KYKD also provides programming to KSCM in Scammon Bay, a small Yup'ik community on the Bering Sea coast. KSCM is owned by VisionAlaska, a non-profit organization that operates the station in partnership with Voice for Christ Ministries and the Scammon Bay Evangelical Covenant Church. The arrangement reflects a model of cooperative Christian broadcasting that supports remote and Indigenous Alaskan communities with limited access to over-the-air radio services.
