Gooshkon

Gooshkon is a Persian-language online station and audio project from Tehran, Iran, connected to Mahalle-ye Nabinaan, the Blind Community. Its programming grows out of an accessibility-focused community founded in 2011 and includes conversation, poetry, drama, music, competitions, and live special programs for celebrations such as Nowruz and Yalda. The wider Gooshkon platform also publishes educational resources, audiobooks, and audio-described entertainment for blind and visually impaired listeners. This community-led approach gives the station a distinctive mix of culture, information, and participatory programming, with members contributing performances and productions.
