Public radio network operated by the university and based within the institution's broadcast facilities. The network broadcasts a blend of classical music, folk, and jazz programming alongside news and feature content from national public radio networks including NPR, Public Radio Exchange, and American Public Media. The primary station began operations in 1977 as the state's third public radio outlet and the first south of a major regional media hub. The network expanded significantly during the 1980s to serve southeastern areas. In 1993, the daytime programming format shifted from easy-listening music to classical. The network operates multiple relay stations extending coverage across the region and streams all channels live on the internet. HD channels include specialized programming with classical music on one subchannel and international news service on another.
