Esta estação de rádio oferece uma programação diversificada.
Wyoming Public Radio (WPR) is the statewide public radio network licensed to the University of Wyoming, with its headquarters on the university campus. The network was founded in 1966 and traces its roots to KFBU, which went on air on October 3, 1922 with 10 watts, making it one of Wyoming's earliest broadcasting operations. That transmitter was established by Warner N. Crosby, an engineering student holding a second-grade commercial license. WPR does not produce student programming despite its university affiliation, and operates primarily through listener pledge drives held twice annually. Programming originates from the Laramie campus and includes locally produced news, jazz, classical music, and adult album alternative content. The network also carries syndicated material from National Public Radio, Public Radio Exchange, American Public Media, and Native Voice One, including flagship programs such as Morning Edition, All Things Considered, and BBC World Service. A dedicated classical music stream, Classical Wyoming, broadcasts in a 24-hour format and is available via analog transmission in several cities as well as HD-2 subchannels statewide. WPR is the sole public radio network produced entirely within the state, distinguishing it from other public stations that reach into Wyoming from neighboring states. News coverage produced by WPR encompasses Wyoming politics, natural resources, energy policy, and regional affairs.
