Jacksboro Radio Network

A community radio operation serving a small Texas town, broadcasting under Part 15 rules at AM 1610, which permits low-power transmission without a full FCC broadcast license. Operating legally and with a stated commitment to non-interference with licensed broadcasters, the network focuses on locally oriented variety programming tailored to its immediate community. The schedule includes Texas dancehall music on Fridays and Saturdays hosted by award-winning local personality Chuck Ramsey, as well as additional programming on weekday mornings. The station has been on the air for more than three years and makes its audio available via internet streaming in addition to its over-the-air signal. Programming reflects a local-interest philosophy, covering community news and events relevant to the surrounding area rather than syndicated national content.
