It is owned by Pamal Broadcasting and transmits from a tower atop Beacon Mountain in Fishkill. The station's primary coverage area encompasses the Mid-Hudson Valley, with secondary targeting into the eastern Catskills, northern Westchester County, the Danbury, Connecticut area, Sussex County, New Jersey, and Pike County, Pennsylvania. For many years, its top-of-hour identification referenced coverage across parts of five states—New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Massachusetts—along with a small portion of Vermont. The station's signal historically reached the Bronx and, before adjacent-frequency stations launched in the early 1990s, extended as far as Albany.
