An FM radio station broadcasting at 91.3 MHz with an alternative rock format, the station is licensed to East Carolina University and serves the Greenville, North Carolina area. It is owned and operated by the East Carolina University Student Media Board. Studio facilities are located in the basement of the Mendenhall Student Center on the main campus, a location the station has occupied since 1991. A previous studio was housed in the Old Joyner Library. The station has been on air since 1982, when it replaced WWWS as the university's student-run radio outlet. WWWS had itself been a member of the International Goodwill network since 1957. The station holds FCC Facility ID 65601.
