WNIX 1330 AM

An AM news-talk radio station established in 1930 as the oldest licensed facility in its region and the second oldest in the Mississippi Delta. The station broadcasts a news-talk format featuring nationally syndicated commentary programming. Originally operating at 1,000 watts during daytime, the station received approval to increase its daytime power to 3,800 watts in 2017, making it the most powerful AM facility in the region while reducing nighttime power to maintain interference protections. The station simulcasts on an FM translator and reaches audiences across the Mississippi Delta area.
