WLTH has served as a launching point for several notable broadcasting careers. Alumni include Steve King, who later worked at WLS and WGN; Felicia Middlebrooks, who had a long tenure at WBBM before retiring; Michael King, who moved to television at WXIA-TV; and Tommy Williams, who later joined WSCR.
