A commercial radio station in northern Arizona, KVNA-FM broadcasts on 100.1 MHz under the brand "Peak 100.1" and is licensed to Flagstaff. The station is one of six properties in the Flagstaff–Prescott region owned by Yavapai Broadcasting Corporation. The 100.1 MHz frequency has carried several distinct formats since its sign-on in summer 1999. It launched as KLOD with a syndicated hard rock format — notably the first US station to broadcast the online commercial network LoudRadio — before transitioning to smooth jazz branded as "The Cat" in 2001. Subsequent shifts brought hot adult contemporary as "Star 100.1," then adult contemporary as "Sunny FM" beginning January 1, 2005. On December 30, 2014, the Sunny format moved to the AM dial and 100.1 FM relaunched as an adult album alternative outlet branded "100.One, Arizona's Adult Alternative," with Sam Smith's "I'm Not the Only One" as its first song. On March 17, 2025, the station reverted to adult contemporary under the "Peak 100.1" identity, adopting a gold-heavy approach anchored in pop music from the 1980s through 2000s with limited emphasis on newer releases.
