WCDO

A news, information, and adult contemporary radio station serving Chenango, Delaware, and Otsego Counties in Upstate New York, with additional reach into portions of Broome County. The FM signal at 100.9 MHz simulcasts alongside a sister AM station at 1490 kHz and a third signal at 92.3 FM in Norwich. Programming centers on adult contemporary music spanning the 1970s to the present, incorporating adult hits across multiple decades. The station positions itself as a local news leader, delivering news updates twelve times each weekday alongside weather and river level information relevant to the region. Local sports coverage is a significant component, with high school football and basketball broadcasts for five school districts: Afton, Bainbridge-Guilford, Harpursville, Sidney, and Unatego. Community engagement is reflected through a community calendar and active social media presence. The station maintains a community advisory function typical of small-market radio, serving as a primary information source for listeners across a largely rural, multi-county footprint in central New York State.
