This online radio station specializes in electronic dance music (EDM), tracing its origins to a rebranding effort in 2017. The station's founder, Marty True, previously established a dance music station in Central Florida in 2004, which operated for five years before being replaced by a hip-hop format. Following this, True aimed to create a brand with a global reach, moving operations to Miami and launching the current iteration as an internet radio station. Initially, the brand did not relaunch as a traditional radio station. In May 2018, it expanded its presence into the Las Vegas market, which is recognized for its EDM scene. The intention was to establish itself as a dance music radio station in Las Vegas, but plans for new broadcast studios were halted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The station's editorial focus is on informing its audience about upcoming events, new music releases, and general news within the electronic dance music scene. It also aims to support the growth of emerging artists in the dance music community. While starting as an internet radio station, it has since expanded into other media areas, maintaining its commitment to the electronic music community.
