A commercial FM station licensed to Grand Rapids, Minnesota, broadcasting an adult contemporary music format. The signal covers Itasca, Aitkin, Cass, and western St. Louis counties, supplemented by local weather, sports, news, and community events programming. The station launched under the call letters KXGR and has maintained an adult contemporary orientation throughout its history. Ownership passed to Bill and Carla Kirwin in 1989, and the call sign was briefly changed to KFMY-FM before settling on KMFY-FM in December of that year. In 2001, Mike and Cindy Iaizzo acquired the station and operated it under the Itasca Broadcasting name. Jim and Colleen Lamke purchased the property in 2012, renaming the ownership entity Lamke Broadcasting. Effective November 1, 2021, the station was sold to Steve Hallstrom and Scott Hennen through their licensee Rapids Radio LLC, along with sister stations KBAJ and KOZY and FM translator K226CV 93.1. Around 2023, the station temporarily pruned its 1980s and 1990s catalog to lean toward a hot adult contemporary sound, before restoring much of that music to the main playlist by 2024. The station carries syndicated programming including the Backtrax USA 1980s Edition, and is affiliated with ABC News, the Minnesota News Network, the Vikings Radio Network, and Westwood One.
