A commercial radio station licensed to Fort Wayne, Indiana, operating on 97.3 FM with a hot adult contemporary format and currently owned by Federated Media. The WMEE call letters originated in 1971 at 1380 kHz on the AM dial, where the station programmed Top 40 music, before transferring to 97.3 FM in 1979. The FM frequency had previously operated as WMEF and, before that, as WKJG-FM with a beautiful music format. Over the decades the station carried numerous on-air identities including "The New Magic 97 FM," "Power 97 FM," and "Mix 97 FM" before settling on the current branding of "97.3 WMEE."
