A non-commercial FM radio station that operated at 91.3 MHz broadcasting a Southern gospel music format from Dothan, Alabama. The station was licensed to and owned by Bethany Divinity College and Seminary, Inc., a religious educational institution, which is a common ownership model for gospel-format stations in the American South where religious colleges and seminaries frequently hold broadcast licenses as part of their ministry and outreach activities. The call sign WVOB had prior history before its Alabama use: between 1963 and January 1982, the same call letters were assigned to a radio station in Bel Air, Maryland, where the initials stood for "voice of Bel Air." That station later became WHRF before the call sign was reassigned. The station's license was canceled by the Federal Communications Commission on June 9, 2025, following a determination that the station had not operated from its FCC-authorized location for a period spanning from 2018 to 2022. Under FCC rules, a station that goes silent for more than one year is subject to license cancellation; the four-year gap in authorized operation exceeded this threshold, resulting in the termination of the license.
