With an expanded library of approximately 3,000 songs, the station deliberately avoids hip-hop and rap, positioning itself as a community alternative to commercial counterparts such as KSFM and KHYL. All programming is commercial-free. Talk programming plays a significant role in the station's schedule, with shows including In Black America, Free Talk Live, Health Matters, and Mid-Day Connect. Music programming blocks include Gospel Soul Sunday, The Smooth Vibe, New Music Mondays, Hot Lunch Special, and Friday Night Dance Party.
