WOCR FM 89.1 The One

A non-commercial, educational FM radio station licensed to Olivet College and operating at 89.1 MHz in Olivet, Michigan. Broadcasting 24 hours a day, seven days a week, WOCR combines over-the-air FM transmission in the local area with live streaming available online. As the student media outlet of the University of Olivet, the station provides hands-on training in audio production, broadcasting, and media creation. Students produce original live radio shows and podcasts, developing practical skills in live programming and content creation. The station also supports video production and writing projects, functioning as a multi-platform student media organization. Involvement is structured through a practicum course integrated into the college's academic schedule, allowing students to earn academic credit while gaining professional broadcast experience.
