The Voice of Free Croatia (Glas Slobodne Hrvatske) is the only Croatian-language radio station serving the East Coast of the United States, broadcasting live on Saturdays at 10am Eastern Time (4pm Croatian time). Operating for over 50 years from New York, Hrvatski Radio Klub NY has maintained its mission to preserve Croatian heritage, defend Croatian truth, and promote the Croatian language among diaspora communities across the Eastern United States. In recognition of its long-standing service, Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović presented the station with a presidential charter during her New York visit, honoring the tireless volunteer work of all past and present club members who have dedicated themselves to connecting Croatians outside the homeland while nurturing Croatian language and culture. The station celebrated its 50th anniversary in February with strong support from its dedicated listener base. Hrvatski Radio Klub NY maintains active engagement with its audience through Facebook, operating both a dedicated group page (Hrvatski radio NY) and an official station page (HRNY - Hrvatski radio New York) for community interaction. The station's management includes President Margie Brajdić, Vice President Vanessa Bulić, Treasurer Angie Paša, Secretary Romy Marić Grgas, and board members Rosemary Huzović, Robert Pribanić, and Jakov Šarić, all working to continue the station's legacy of serving the Croatian-American community.
