WXNU FM

A commercial FM radio station broadcasting at 106.5 MHz, licensed to St. Anne, Illinois. The station serves Kankakee County and Iroquois County in Illinois, as well as Newton County in Indiana. WXNU began broadcasting in 2006 and operates a country music format. Ownership is held by STARadio. Weekday programming features a regular roster of local and syndicated hosts. Morning drive is handled by Bill Yohnka, airing from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., followed by Kendra from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Scott Hardy during afternoon drive from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The station carries the nationally syndicated Country Countdown USA, hosted by Lon Helton, which airs each Sunday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. The program counts down the week's top 30 charted country songs, with a featured artist joining Helton each week.
