Esta emisora ofrece una programación variada.
One of the oldest continuously operating radio stations in the Los Angeles area, this AM outlet traces its origins to August 1925, when it first signed on under the call letters KFXB, licensed to Big Bear Lake at 1430 kHz. The station relocated to Los Angeles in 1927 as KPLA and was subsequently acquired in 1929 by Packard automobile dealer Earle C. Anthony, who rebranded it KECA using his own initials. Following a series of frequency moves tied to the North American Regional Broadcasting Agreement, the station eventually settled at 790 kHz. ABC purchased the station in 1943, eventually renaming it KABC in 1968 when the network exited the owned-and-operated radio business. Currently owned by Cumulus Media, the station operates a conservative talk radio format at 6,600 watts daytime and 7,900 watts nighttime using a directional antenna. Studios are located in the Los Angeles suburb of Culver City, with the transmitter situated in the Crenshaw District. The weekday lineup features locally hosted talk programming alongside nationally syndicated shows including Armstrong and Getty, the Vince Coglianese Show, and Red Eye Radio. Weekend programming includes The Kim Komando Show and paid brokered content. National news updates from NBC News Radio air each hour, and early weekday mornings feature a simulcast of the KABC-TV morning newscast. UCLA Bruins sports coverage airs periodically on weekends.
