Arrowe Sound Hospital Radio

This hospital radio service has been providing entertainment, companionship, and support for patient recovery since 1973. Broadcasting 24 hours a day, seven days a week, it serves patients and staff at Arrowe Park Hospital, as well as listeners at home across the Wirral and beyond. Programming includes "Airplay40," a show featuring the Top 40 singles chart compiled from worldwide radio airplay, along with the latest showbiz updates. Other scheduled shows include "Pulsebeat" and "The Time Of Your Life." Listeners can tune in via the station's website, the TuneIn and GetMeRadio apps, or smart speakers. The station is a registered charity run entirely by volunteers. In addition to live broadcasts, the station offers an online magazine called "Sound," which shares stories and community spirit.
