A commercial FM radio station licensed to Emerson, Nebraska, serving the Wayne, Nebraska area and currently owned by Wayne Radio Works, LLC. The station broadcasts at 104.9 MHz under the "Big Red Country" branding, reflecting a country music format. The station began FM operations in October 1975 at 104.9 MHz with 3,000 watts of power. Ownership changed multiple times over subsequent decades: sold to Dean Craun in 1978, who expanded the AM sister station's power in 1980; then to Don Dolesh in 1987; then to Norfolk broadcaster Gene Koehn in 1997, who increased FM power to 25,000 watts. Koehn later sold to Waitt Media, which was subsequently acquired by NRG Media of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In late 2007, NRG sold the station to Mike Flood. David Kelly purchased the Wayne stations in spring 2008, establishing Wayne Radio Works, LLC. The call sign formally became KTCH on February 3, 2014, when programming from the AM sister station at 1590 kHz migrated to the FM frequency. The former call sign KCTY was reassigned to the 1590 AM signal, which adopted a classic hits format branded as "The City." An FM translator at 98.9 MHz also carries the AM station's programming.
