KUAT FM 90.5

A classical music radio station operated by the University of Arizona through Arizona Public Media since 1975. Broadcasting on 90.5 FM throughout Southern Arizona, the station curates 24/7 classical music programming featuring nationally syndicated broadcasts from major orchestras including the San Francisco Symphony, Cleveland Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, and Metropolitan Opera. The station serves as the broadcast home of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra and carries programs including From the Top, showcasing young classical musicians. Multiple translator stations extend coverage across southeastern Arizona, with studios located in the Modern Languages Building on the university campus. The station remains one of the nation's last fully-curated classical music services.
