The station broadcasts a format centered on Contemporary Christian worship music supplemented by a selection of Christian talk and teaching programs. It signed on the air at 89.9 MHz on October 1, 1989. The station's programming is characterized by its emphasis on praise and worship music, featuring prominent Contemporary Christian artists including Phil Wickham, Elevation Worship, and Chris Tomlin.
