About WOOL FM 91.5

WOOL FM 91.5 streams live from Town of Rockingham VT, United States, on Tuninga Radio.

This radio station offers diverse programming.

A community radio station branded as "Black Sheep Radio" and licensed to Bellows Falls, Vermont, operating a freeform music and talk format under ownership of the Great Falls Community Broadcasting Company. The station's origins begin with a 2001 application to the FCC for a low-power FM license. Construction was approved in February 2004 and the station — then WOOL-LP — launched on June 25, 2005. Studio space on Canal Street was initially donated by telecommunications company SoVerNet. Prior to launch, the station relocated to Bridge Street studios. At sign-on, WOOL had approximately 140 members and 20 volunteer DJs; when local programming was not scheduled, Pacifica Radio content filled the air. The first 24 hours of broadcasting were dedicated to pirate station Radio Free Brattleboro, which had been shut down by the FCC just days prior. In 2014, WOOL upgraded from low-power to a full-service FM license, expanding its coverage area. The station also operates Stage 33 Live, a performance venue with no bar or kitchen, focused entirely on live music presentation.
