KSQY 95.1 FM streams live from Rapid City SD, United States, on Tuninga Radio.
This radio station offers diverse programming.
A mainstream rock station licensed to Deadwood, South Dakota, operating under the brand name K-SKY and serving the Rapid City metropolitan area. The station began broadcasting in August 1982 from a tower on the summit of Terry Peak in Lead, South Dakota, a high-elevation position that yields coverage across parts of five states. A 17,000-watt booster licensed to Rapid City supplements the signal in the metro area. The station is owned by Haugo Broadcasting, Inc., which in 1998 acquired Rapid City stations KIQK and KTOQ from Tom-Tom Communications, then owned by NBC news anchor Tom Brokaw. Following that acquisition, KSQY relocated its studios from downtown Deadwood to Rapid City. In September 2008, operations moved to new facilities on Canyon Lake Drive. During the mid-1980s, the station ranked among the highest-rated album-oriented rock outlets in the United States. Its format has shifted over the decades from album-oriented rock to classic rock and Adult Album Alternative before settling into mainstream rock.
