Over a career spanning 45 years of active evangelism before his retirement from broadcast radio in 2021, Hardang became widely recognized within Norwegian Christian media, earning the description "legendary radio-pastor" from the Christian newspaper Norge Idag. In 2013 he received the Honorary Prize from the Christian Radio Forum, an acknowledgment of his sustained contribution to faith-based broadcasting. Beyond radio, Hardang hosted a television series, authored multiple books, and contributed to the Christian magazine Bladet Evangelisten. In 2022 he founded TV 12 Bedehuskanalen, a new Christian television channel.
