Owned by iHeartMedia, it serves as the flagship station for the On Air with Ryan Seacrest program and as the origin station for iHeartMedia's national KISS-FM brand. Studios are located in Burbank; the transmitter operates from Mount Wilson north of Los Angeles. The station extends its coverage through a single full-power FM repeater, KVVS at 105.5 MHz in Rosamond. It has consistently ranked as the top-rated station in the Los Angeles, Orange County, and Ventura County radio markets, with an average audience approaching one million listeners.
