KRNU FM 90.3

A college radio station operated by a university broadcasting department. Founded in 1975, the station began as a low-power student-staffed facility operating from an academic building. Power and coverage expanded substantially over decades of development. The station transitioned to computer-based storage and automation systems beginning in 1998, with system upgrades in 2002. Recent facility expansion in 2009-2010 established new dedicated broadcast studios. Programming emphasizes indie rock and experimental music with specialty format programming including jazz, folk, and other genres. The station supports student training in broadcasting and campus sports coverage.
