A commercial FM radio station licensed to Knox, Indiana, owned and operated by Kankakee Valley Broadcasting Company, Incorporated alongside its sister station WKVI (1520 AM). Branded as Vinyl Gold 99.3, the FM outlet adopted an oldies format in September 2022 focused on music released between 1964 and 1975, complementing the company's classic hits station WYMR (98.3 FM), which covers the 1970s and 1980s. The station first went on air in July 1969 in its AM form, founded with a news-and-music format by manager Harold Welter and a small founding team. Over subsequent decades the company expanded, adding the FM license and in 2014 constructing a Class A FM station in Culver, Indiana. WKVI-FM serves the Kankakee Valley area of north-central Indiana and carries hourly local news, agricultural news, Fox News updates, AccuWeather reports, and high school sports coverage across seven area schools. In November 2014, the station received the Spectrum Award for Station of the Year in its market category from the Indiana Broadcasters Association.
